Attention all Students: Did you know the high school has its own Art & Literary Magazine? It’s called Et cetera, and the first organizational meeting for this annual publication is this week on Thursday, January 30. Information about how to submit your works of art and creative writing will be available soon, but this meeting is for anyone interested in being on the magazine's staff. If you have an interest in art, an interest in creative writing, or an interest in publishing, plan to attend the meeting in Mrs. Lowe’s room (A213) this Thursday after school.

Attention Students and Staff…We need your help! The AAHS Key Club is competing against the Key Club of Hollidaysburg to collect the most cans of soup and money to be donated to the Mountain Lion Backpack Program. February 3 rd at 6 p.m., the Altoona Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball Teams will be playing a doubleheader against their crosstown rivals, the Hollidaysburg Tigers. Key Clubs will be collecting cans and money as you enter the Hollidaysburg gym. To get a jump on the competition, we will be collecting cans and packages of soup at school in room A208 all this week. Help us fight hunger while beating the Tigers! Go Mountain Lions!
